David Ford
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Prior to founding Gatemore, Mr. Ford was an Investment
Analyst at Select Equity Group, a long-only and
long/short fund that manages over $5 billion, investing
primarily in small- and mid-cap equities.
Previously, Mr. Ford was an Investment Analyst at
MSD Capital, the private money management firm of
Michael Dell, where he evaluated venture capital
and private equity opportunities. Mr. Ford began
his career in the Investment Banking Division of
Goldman, Sachs, advising on mergers, acquisitions
and corporate finance in the technology sector.
Mr. Ford graduated magna cum laude from Amherst
College with a B.A. in computer science and received
an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business,
where he was named an Arjay Miller Scholar. |
